From patient prescription order “in” to final prescription “out,” HBS supports bar code scanning throughout the system for retrieval of refill information, completing screen information for the dispensed product, verification of the dispensed product, quality assurance checking, and Point-of-Sale (POS) scanning that activates the signature pad for patient signature acquisition.
• Workflow Management: Expedite accurate prescription filling. The HBS Workflow system provides efficient and productive prescription processing with quality control. • Pill imaging: Prevent incorrect dispensing of medications with pill imaging. Pill images can be used during quality assurance checking to insure that the correct pill will be displayed and compared with the bottle contents to prevent incorrect drug dispensing.
• Point-of-Sale (POS): Combine all of a customer’s purchases into a single transaction for improved speed and efficiency. • Drug Maintenance Updates: Receive updates over the internet daily — not weekly. AWP updates, NDC changes, and information about new drugs are available on a daily basis and distributed over the Internet to our clients.
• Dr. Fax: Send refill reminders to the prescriber automatically. Our Dr. Fax Module allows the system to fax refill request authorization forms directly to the doctor's office, enabling the pharmacist or the technician to stay at their terminal to continue filling prescriptions and helping patients.

Multitasking

Reports
BestRxWin allows you to print dozens of different kinds of reports. There are many built-in reports, but you can also design your own reports by picking specific data and sorting it the way you want. The reports can be exported to a user defined file format that later can be imported into a Microsoft Excel spread sheet. BestRxESign

BestRxESign is an electronic signature capturing system that can store all your patient’s signatures in your computer. This eliminates paper storage and is great for audit purposes. The ability to capture signatures for deliveries is also available.

E-Prescribing

With e-prescribing, prescribers can send prescriptions directly to your computer. This helps to increase your volume and reduces errors. You can also send prescribers refill requests over the Internet. Saves time by eliminating the need to call or fax the prescriber.

Rx Image Scanning

With the Rx Image scanning feature, you can store prescription images on your computer. This makes retrieving prescriptions a snap. No more digging through files to verify a prescription. You can scan the prescription image at the time of input or scan later using the batch scanning function.

Nursing Home

IVR Interface

We can interface with a third party Interactive Voice Response system to allow your customers to automatically request refills over the phone. This increases productivity by freeing up time that would otherwise be spent on the phone for other tasks.

BestPOS is the most advanced POS system on the market that uses the Touch screen technologies for faster transaction processing. BestPOS is fully integrated with the BestRxWin pharmacy management system. It can also collect the Rx and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Policy. The system can generate dozens of management reports including sales and inventory data. BestPOS interfaces with major drug wholesalers so your pharmacy can maintain its drug/OTC inventory and prices automatically.

Security

BestRxWin has enhanced security and access built in to ensure that only authorized persons can access the data. First, you set up who is allowed to use your system by designating user names and passwords for each user. Then you can set the access rights for each user for each aspect of the program. For example, you can set up access so only certain users can view or update the inventory data, print critical financial data, or update the prescription profile.
